LIBERAL-LABOUR ASPIRANT. (By Telegraph.—Pi-ess Association.) NAPIER, this day. Mr. H. Lan Simeon, a well-known resident of Hawke's Bay for many years, announces his candidature for the Buller seat at the forthcoming by-election as a Liberal-Labour candidate, basing his platform oil the policy of Ballance and Seddon. Mr. Simson has had considerable experience on various local bodies in the province. He was formerly Mayor of Hastings., chairman of the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board and previously contested the Hawke's Bay seat in the LiberalLabour interests.
