TYPHOID AMONG MAORIS.
NELSON DISTRICT CASES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, this day. Twenty cases of typhoid have occurred among Maoris at Puramahoi, in the Takaka district. It is understood that infection arose from a tangi hold a month ago, when Maoris were present from all parts of New Zealand. Every effort .is being made to trace contacts. Only one European is affected.
