DEMAND FOR INVESTIGATION.

Cabinet has still to decide whether the insistent demands of the currency reformers for an inquiry into the present monetary system should be granted. It is understood a section of the Ministry favours the idea, but that the Prime Minister is not impressed with the value cuch an investigation would have. In the meantime, members interested are again urging that an inquiry be held.
