MORE DISCUSSION.
BOARD'S MEMO. TO CABINET.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Members of the Dairy Produce Board to-day had an interview with members of Cabinet at Parliament Buildings on the quota issue. Mr. Coatcs said the board had. placed tho views of the dairy industry before the Government, and had undertaken to •submit to-morrow a written memorandum setting out those views in detail. The views of the industry would be taken into consideration by the Government. At the present moment lie could give no indication of the trend of the discussions, and no policy statement would be made in the meantime. The opinions of Mr. Thomas Baxter, representative of the National Farmers' Union of England and Wales, also would have to be taken into careful consideration. Members of Parliament and of the Legislative Council will meet Mr. Baxter to-morrow morning, and ho will leave by the Makura later in the day for San Francisco, en route to England.
