The eighth annual accounts of Brunner Collieries, Limited, Gieymouth, for the year ended June ;SO, show a profit of £940, compared with £240 in the previous year. The amount is struck after providing £191;) for debenture interest and £1803 for depreciation of plant and buildings. With £44 brought forward, the amount at the credit of profit and loss appn : ia.tion account it £084. Out of this a fun..or £400 has been written off preliminary expenses and £219 off debenture expense account, leaving £335 to be carried forward.
