QUOTA DANGERS.
"Mischievous Addendum of Restriction." BRITISH SCHEME CRITICISED. (Special to N.Z. Press Association.) LONDON, August 17. The "Liverpool Post" says there is a great deal to be said for the- organised marketing of dairy products m Britain, but it should be a much more spontaneous thing than the protective measures which the Minister of Agriculture, Major W. E. Elliot, lias devised, with their mischievous addendum of restriction. There is a danger that these schemes will produce a vast bureaucratic crop, remarks the paper. Already there are signs of this.
