LATEST LINGERIE.

Fashions in underclothing do not change quite so quickly as our other clothes, but when they do they arc rather important changes. First and foremost this season is the choice of white for "undies" rather than colours. The salmon and flesh pink shades which have been with us for so long are a long way down the list. After white come pale tones of blue, green, and mauve, writes Miss Peggy Barnes from Paris to the Melbourne "Herald." The next change is the decided preference for nightdresses rather than pyjamas. The pyjama fashion seems to be on the wane. Nightdresses this season are the last word in daintiness; frills of mousseline are a popular trimming, for the bodice "skirts," mostly cut 011 the cross, are high waisted. As for undies, the smartest sets I siuv bad an elaborately worked monogram on each article in the same colour as the crepe de chine used.
