POPPY DAY APPEAL.
NEW PLYMOUTH RAISES £487. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The final result of the Toppy Day appeal at New Plymouth and district is £487, including a donation of £50 by the New Plymouth Savings Bank.
In the "Star's" report of Poppy Day collections it was statod that £62 5/11 was collected by the Eden and Roskill U.S.A. We are asked to state that the above was the total collection for the district, the Eden and Roskill R.S.A. working in conjunction with the Mayoress of Mount Eden.
