WIIANGAREI, this day.

The Whangarei County Council today conferred with owners of heavy

traffic vehicles who have been granted permission to exceed the road classification, and also representatives of the Highways and Transport Boards. Aftes a full discussion it was decided to make application to the Minister of Internal Affairs to have the classification raised to Si tons 011 highways. All existing concessions were renewed for six months.
