RIFLE SHOOTING.

■ iii FARMERS' UNION" CONTEST. MORRINSVILLE'S GOOD SCORE. (From Our Own Correspondent) MOHBINSVIIiLE, Monday. Remarkably good rifle shooting, considering the squally weather, was seen on Saturday at the Morrinsville range, when a team of five members of the Morrinsville branch of the Farmers' Union fired oft* in the Dominion-wide contest among Farmers' Union teams for the Colonial Ammunition Co.'s Shield. The team's Aggregate for seven shots at each of 300, 500, 600 yards was 469 out of 525. This should be hard for any other farmers' team to beat. All of the team are also members of the Morrinsville Defence Rifle Club, and are all dairy farmers who shoot only on occasional Saturdays in summer. Scores of team are as follow:—D. Campbell, 35, 32, 33—100 ; F. C. Kennedy, 32, 32, ,T. C. Browne, 30, 34, 30 — 94; A. Topham, 30, 3*l. 32—03; R. A. S. Browne, 30, 31, 24—85.
