LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
SOUTH AUCKLAND MEETING, The annual meeting of the South Auck' land Rugby League, held at Taupiri, was presided over by Mr. K. T. Hill. The election of officers resulted :—Patron, Mr. F. B. Catley: president, Mr. R. T. Hill; vicepresidenis, Mr. Lowe (Ngaruawahla). Mr. W. Waring (Taupiri). Mr. G. Shaw (Hu.nt.ly), Mr. Tonga Mahuta fKia Ora, Waalii Ta), Mr. E. Hildebrand (Rotowaro), Mr. J. D. Joy (Ngaruawahia), Mr. N. Wilson (Taupiri), Mr. H. Meadows (Hnntly), Mr. Mottrass (Rotowaro) ; auditor, Mr. H. Morris (Ngaruawahla) ; secretary-treasurer, Mr. M. B. Glasgow (Taupiri) ; direct delegate to New Zealand Council. Mr. Hill; management committee, Mr. N. Wilson (Taupiri) ; Mr. A. Harloch (Huntly), Mr. E. Littleton (Ngaruawahla). Mr. E. Hildebrand (Rotowaro) ; selectors for senior representative teams, Mr. ,T. Menzies (Ngaruawahla), Mr. N. Wilson (Tnjiplri), Mr. A. Harlock (Hnntly) ; for junior representative teams, Mr. E. Littleton (Ngaruawahla), Mr. J. Kingi (Kia Ora), Mr. C. Northmore (Huntly). Mr. A. Harlock, of Huntly, was nominated as a life member of the New Zealand League. Four senior teams, Taupiri, Ngaruawahla, Huntly ond Rotowaro, were entered, also four junior teams, namely, Kla Ora, Huntly, Taupiri and Ngaruawahla. Games in both competitions will . commence' on Saturday, April 29. The draw for the seniors resulted (home team mentioned first) :—April 29. Taupiri v. Ngaruawahla, Rotowaro v. Huntly; May 0. Huntly v. Ngaruawahla. Taupiri v. Rotowaro ; May 13, Ngaruawahia v.. Rotowaro, Huntly v. Taupiri.
