THEIR MONKEY TRICKS

Animals Break Loose on Ship in Mediterranean Storm LIVELY TIME ABOARD. (Received 10.30 a.m.) CALCUTTA, March 27. The steamer Behar was conveying a collection of 500 Indian jungle birds, animals and cobras to Liverpool when it encountered a storm in the Mediterranean. Monkeys got loose and played hide-and-seek in the rigging. They climbed the ventilators and invaded the cabins of the officers. The crew spent four lively days and nights recapturing them.
