TERMS OF REPLY.

NOT RELEASED AT HOME.

(Received 11 a.m.)

LONDON, January 30.

The Australian Board of Control has replied to the Marylebone Cricket Club's cable in answer to Australia's protest about the leg-theory, but the terms are unlikely to be made known until Marylebone'e acknowledgment reaches the board. The first publication, therefore, will apparently be in Australia.

Although no announcement was made regarding the result of the Board of Control's meeting, it is understood that the rest of the tour is not affected. The English team went north last night, and the Queensland and southern members of the board returned homeward. The board's reply will probably be released to-night.
