GRIMMET ANOTHER BIG "BAG"

In the Sheffield Shield match, between Brisbane and South Australia, "the latter carried the score to 249 in response to Queensland's total of 129. Tobin made 47 and Grimmett 31. Gilbert took four wickets for 58, Oxenham two for 30, and Brew two for 82. _ . Queensland in the second inninga scored 192 (Levy 68, Cook 23). Grimmett (who took six for 49 in .the first innings) secured seven for 86, and Lee three for 59. . " Requiring 72 runs to win, South. Australia had made 24 without lose when stumps' were drawn. The wicket was damaged by rain.
