SUPREME COURT.
CRIMINAL SESSION'S
to-morrow.
Criminal sessions of the Supreme Court for 1933 will open in Auckland to-mor-row. Included in the list, which numbers over 30, are 12 charges of theft, three of false pretences, three robbery, two forgery, two breaking and entering, three sexual cases, two assault, one mischief, one escaping from custody, and one poisoning.
At the conclusion of the criminal session the civil session will follow, and there are 50 civil cases to heard and 50 divorce petitions. The Judges will be Sir Alexander Herdman and Mr. Justice Smith. Judging from past sessions, the number of criminal and civil cases on the 'list will be quite enough to keep the Court busy right up to the time of the beginning of the May sessions.
