WELLINGTON, Monday.
A supplementary Gazette to-night announces that the Governor-General has accepted the resignation of Mr. Downie Stewart, and has appointed Mr. Forbes Attorney-General, Sir. Coates Minister of Finance, Customs and Stamp Duties, and Mr. Young Minister of Internal Affairs, vice Mr. Hamilton.
