SMALL FARMS.

DISPOSAL OF SECTIONS. BREAKING IN BLOCKS. (By Telegraph.— Owa Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, tliis day. Over 100 applications have been received by the Department of Agriculture for the 37 sections, subdivision 011 Bassett's and Wilson's West Coast blocks. The names of those who will receive the sections have been determined, and successful applicants are being employed clearing and breaking in botli blocks. A camp lias been established at Wilson's, where 15 men are engaged in clearing scrub.

Bassett's is practically all in grass. Both blocks should be ready for handing over to the new settlers within a couple of months.
