PETER PAN.

One of llio most popular places on New Year's Eve in which to welcome the New Year was the Peter Pan Cabaret, and again on Monday night there were large race parties present. Miss Ella Shields and Mr. George Wallace and the members of Mr. Frank Neil's vaudeville revue company were the guests of the management. Mr. Merve Bree and his band, in conjunction with Mr. M. Oilman, all helped to make the New Year one of the brightest gatherings for years. Among those present were: Mrs. Reubenstein, Sydney, green satin; Mrs. A. Burgoyne, black crepe euede; Mrs. L. Stone, forest green crepe suede; Mrs. B. Wade, royal blue georgette; Mrs. J. McCrombic, red lace; Mrs. A. Neville, royal blue Milan lace; Mrs. Temple Cobbold (Te Aroha), primrose flowered satin; Miss L. Goldstone (Hawera), lime green glace; Miss Rae Thompson, Alice blue georgette; Miss B. Kelly, red flat crepe; Miss J. Hudson, wine georgette; Miss M. O'Cayne, white crepe; Miss W. Forte, white organdie; Miss N. Callaghan, wine satin; Miss Z. Saunders, powder blue moire; Miss A. Hutchinson, black and white organdie.; Miss J. Stokes, scarlet georgette; Miss F. Souter, pink frilled net; Mrs. M. Pcttit (Gisbovnc), powder blue brodcric Anglaise; Mrs. C. •Clifford, lemon frilled taffeta.
