PAPAKURA TOURNAMENT. The Papnkura Boxing Club's second tournament was held on Saturday evening. Results: — In the principal bout between Lindsay (Papakura) and Dale (Auckland), the latter injured an ankle in the first round and had to retire. £.. Burgess (Papakura) beat Donovan (Auckland), J. McConnell (Papakura) beat Allen (Auckland), A. Jones (Papakura) beat Hutter (Auckland), Ross (Papakura) beat McCoy (Auckland), A. Burgess (Papakura) beat Quinlan (Auckland), Weaver (Auckland) beat Watldns (PapakuraJ, S. Allen (Auckland) beat E. Jones (Papakura), Neale (Auckland) beat Shadbolt (Auckland), G. Hill (Auckland) beat C. Norman (Papakura), Soloman (Auckland) beat G. Robinson (Papakura), McKinnon (Auckland) beat Holland (Papakura), Collister (Auckland) beat Buckeridge .(Papakura), McCullough (Auckland) beat Smith (Papakura). A midget bout between two very small' boys, the Peapell brothers, was greatly enjoyed. Tommy McInnes and Neale (Auckland) staged an exhibition. Mr. Neil McLean was referee.
