"BACK TO FORM."

CHICAGO GANGSTERS "OUT." CHICAGO, October 27. This great city which wae said to have turned over a new leaf when it rid itself of "Big Bill" Thompson, the last Mayor, is finding its form again. Though it cannot ehow the wholesale killings that made Chicago notorious in the reign of "Scarface" Al. Capone, it has tallied four murders in the last two daye. Two of Capone's former lieutenants have been found with their heads partly blown off. Evidently the crime was done by a "friend" whom they took riding 5n the rear seat of their luxurious armoured motor car. Then Johnny Merino, one of New York's biggest gangsters since hie former partner, "Legs" Diamond, passed out, was found riddled with machinegun bullete. His body was trussed securely in a jute sack, with the knees buckled against the breast. The fourth victim was. just an ordinary gangster.
