ANTI-GOD TEADE MARKS. LONDON, October 26. Arcos, the Soviet trade agency in London, denies that anti-religious designs have been used on boxes of Russian matches, and characterises as crude forgeries those which recently were alleged to have been smuggled into Britain. These were said to have used as a trade mark a picture of Christ on the Cross, with the words below: "Jeeus Christ Safety Matches." A Sacred Heart, with the eame words below, appeared, it was stated, on another box.
