THIEF AT ONE TREE HILL.

MONEY STOLEN FROM BEDROOM. At 11.30 last night it was reported to the police that the house of Mr. D. E. Leslie, 130, Wheturangi Road, One Tree Hill, had been entered by a thief while a bridge party was in progress on Thursday night. Entering a front bedroom by the window, while a number of persons were playing cards in another room, the thief stole £3 from a woman's handbag and searched another handbag before he was disturbed, and left hurriedly.
