; LONDON'S RECORD IMPORTS. During the season which ended with the discharge of the s.s. Port Gisborne at King George V. dock on August 3, no less than 3,880,000 packages of apples and pears were received in the Port of London. This is easily the largest quantity received from Australian, Tasmanian and New Zealand ports during any one season.
