, AUSTRALIAN -DECISIONS, (Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Australian Cricket Board of Control has endorsed the decision of the Marylebone Cricket Club disallowing use <of resin by bowlers; The board has acceptcd Alan Fairfax's explanation of his breaking of his agreement by playing for Accrington before he was entitled to do so. It is announced that the board cannot accede to South Africa's request to permit the Australians to play there on their return from England in 1934, but it is prepared to negotiate a separate tour for a future date.

The board decided that Australia's Test teams this season shall be chosen by a committee of three, namely, Dr. Dolling (South Australia), Mr. W. Johnson (Victoria) "and Mr. E. D.wyer (New South Wales).

The Cricket Board of Control rejected a proposal by the New South Wales Cricket Association to urge the Marylebone Cricket Club to agree to ejght-ball overs in the forthcoming Tests,'Maryleborie already having opposed the proposal.

In connection with Grimmett'3 book on cricket, the committee reported to the board that it had cdme to the conclusion that Grimmett had not committed any breach of his agreement.
