NATIVE LAND DEVELOPMENT.
AREAS ADDED TO SCHEME. / • , (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. A total of 851(3 acres has been added to the native land development scheme, according to a' notice published in the "Gazette" last night. No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection v;ith land affected so as to interfere with, or obstruct the carrying out of the development scheme. All the land affected is in the Tokerau NaVive Land Court district, and the areas added are a3 follow:— Bay of Islands scheme, 5379 acres; Mangonui, 683 acres; Hokianga, 2189 acres; Kaipara, 260 acres.
