INTER-CLUB FINAL. The final of the inter-club competition for the l>art Shield between Farneli (present holder) and Central win be played in the St. James' Hall, Wellington Street, tomorrow evening, when tliu following team will represent Central: —Ladies : Misses J. E. Ramsay, S. Harrisson, X. D. Newton and Mrs. C. Wren. Men,: Messrs. M. T. Wilson, A. F. Weir, A. C. Johns and A. E. MeKeown. Reserves; V. R. Johns and Miss A. Harrisson. After this match comes a visit to Hamilton bv an Auckland team to play a Waikato team on Saturday. Although the country players "are very keen they have no onu outstanding. At the end of the month the New Zealand and Auckland championships are to be played in shed D on the Central wharf. All sections of players ure being catered for, with A B and C grade championships and handicap doubles and combined matches. Entries close on August 19.
