DICKENS FELLOWSHIP.
There was a large attendance at the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland branch of the Dickens Fellowship held last evening. Mrs. Kenneth Gordon presided. The programme was in the hands of Mr. P. Townley Little, who gave an interesting address on minqj characters in Dickens' works. Readings were given as follows:—"The murder of Nancy," Miss Statham; "Old Cheescman," Mr. Norris; "The Apprentice Knights," Rev. C. E. Perkins: "Miss Monflathers," Mrs. Rickerby; "Mrs. Jellaby," Mr. Little.
