DE VALERA'S THREAT.

Britain Challenged to Sue for Annuities. MONEY ALREADY DUE. ("Times" Cables.) LONDON, June 15. The Dublin correspondent of "The ximes" states that the President of the Irish Free State, Mr. de Valera, had a lengthy conversation with lawyers about the Note he proposes to send to the Dominions Secretary, Mr. J. H. Thomas, concerning the land annuities. Of these annuities a 3um of £1,500,000 falls due to-day, but Mr. de Valera has no intention of transmitting the money. The correspondent says the President takes the view that if Britain believes ehe is entitled to the annuities she must prove her case in a Court of law.
