TIMOR SEA MYSTERY.

Extensive Search For Missing

German Seaplane. NO TRACES FOUND. (Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The aviation authorities state that arrangements have been made with the West Australian Airways to send aeroplanes to search the northern coast of Australia for the missing German aviator, Hans Bertram, and his companion, Glausmann, who, while flying in a Junkers seaplane from Hongkong to Australia, have not been heard of since leaving Koepang, Timor Island, for Darwin, at midnight on May 15. The search will commence immediately from Wyndham.

A Batavia message states that the Dutch Government's steamer, which has been searching for several days, has returned without finding any trace of the hydroplane or its occupants.
