NEW POSTAL RATES.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Regulations gazetted this evening relate to the reduced postal charges to take effect from June 1. The letter rate is restored to one penny for the first ounce, and h\ for each additional ounce. The rate for postcards will be *d. The registration fee will now be 3d. Eates for packets, book post, parcels, etc., are also reduced to the former levels.
