DANGEROUS AGES.
An analysis of the records of about 4,000,000 motorists lias been made by an American insurance company, which discovered the following facts: — The percentage of motorists under the age of twenty involved in personal injury accidents is 39 per cent more than the average for all ages combined. The period of discretion in driving does not begin until the age of thirty. Driving apparently improves between the ages of thirty and thirty-nine. Between the ages of forty and fortynine the accident record drops considerably, and these according to the statistics, are the safest ages. The accident record rises again above the age of fifty. The figures apparently apply to both sexes.
