ROYAL OAK DISTRICT. £15 IN CASH REMOVED. THIEF FINDS HIDING-PLACE. Another burglary was committed last night in Mount Albert Road, Onehunga, when cash amounting to £15 was stolen from a fruit shop owned by Mr. A. C. Hooker, and within a stone's throw of the Seddon Memorial, Royal Oak. The money, all in silver, was taken from two cash boxes which had been placed underneath a dressier in the living portion of the premises. Another cash box, containing £1 notes was missed. This makes the third burglary in the same vicinity this month. On April 0 a private house near Mr. Hooker's shop, No. 22, Mount Albert Road, was entered and cash, jewellery and a gold watch of a total value of £30 were secured. Last Friday night goods worth £200 were stolen from a draper's shop near the Royal Oak.
