PENSION PAYMENTS.
REDUCTION THIS MONTH. MR. FORBES' STATEMENT. LEGISLATION RETROSPECTIVE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Replying to a question last night in the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister said lie understood the next pension payments would be subject to tho deductions set out in the National Expenditure Adjustment Bill. The relative section was retrospective to April 1, and this month's payments would be automatically affected.
