WEST END CLUB,
The fact that the inter-club racing has reached a poiut definitely beyond the benefit of Auckland rowing, as commented upon when the season opened, has caused the West End Club's officers after due consideration, to decide that theclub will only compete in three inter-club races this season for the following reasons: (1) That tides are so inconvenient that only every second Saturday is suitable for trial racing. (2) In fairness to donors of trophies and to the regatta members unable to support such a heavy list as pencilled that it is difficult for the A.K.A. to arrange a programma suitable to all clubs.
HAMILTON CLUB'S FOURS
