EVERSLIE CLUB.
At the seventh annual general meeting of the Everslie Golf Club held at Papakura on Friday evening, the report showed the club to have an increased membership, and a credit balance of £39 18/9. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr. Balfour M. Irvine; president, Mr. P. J. Parker; captain, Mr. C. Wardell; vice-captain, Mr. E. A. J. Busing; secretary, Mr. G. F. McDonald ; treasurer, Mr. N. Johnson.
AKARANA CLUB,
At Akarana Golf Club's links on Saturday a competition in the form of a medal round was won once more by the consistent Lou Paewai "with the excellent card of 85—14 —71. The next best scorers were : H. P. Cullen, 84—9—75; A. E. Young, 89—11 —78; and G. M. Brown, 88-^5 —83.
