DICKENS FELLOWSHIP.
The Dickens Fellowship finished theil- - session last evening with a tea ati'l social gathering. Upwards of 100 members sat down to tea, and the evening was presided over by Mrs. Kenneth Gordon. A splendid programme of readings and sketches was provided, followed by . a number of Dickens' favourite old-time dances, and winding up with Sir Roger de Coverley. During the evening short speeches were given by the Rev. A. B. Chappell, Miss M. Robinson, Messrs. G. G. Grant, T. Clarkson, W. E. Arey, C. Ividson, J. W. Kealy and A. W. Marks, members of the executive referring to the activities of the fellowship, its continuous | success, and increasing membership. The music and dance programme was in tfop hands of Miss M. Robinson. The meeting ended with the singing of Auld Lang Sync.
