FACILITIES FOR VALUELESS CHEQUES. MAGISTRATE OX FRAUD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. "It is really amazing the facilities that are offer d men to obtain money by means of valueless cheques," said Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in sentencing James Allan Hoban, aged 55, a salesman, to three months' hard labour on six charges of obtaining goods and money at Auckland, Wellington and Talmereton North by means of valueless cheques.
