COMMONWEALTH BONDS.

Could any of your readers inform me if holders *of Commonwealth of Australia bonds (which are registered in New Zealand) are compelled to accept a reduction of £18 12/6 per cent in interest due? The Commonwealth Government is taking the position that this reduction is due to the rate of exchange. INTERESTED. If the bond is domiciled in New Zealand and the principal is payable in this country the holder should be able to receive interest free of exchange. Your bond should bear on its face the necessary information in this respect.
