German Invention to be Tested Early in May. SPEED OF A BULLET. (Received 10.30 a.m.) BERLIN", April 12. Experts 'witnessed a demonstration of a rocket motor driven by a mixture of alcohol and liquid oxygen. It is claimed that the machine can hurl itself at the speed of a bullet from Berlin to anywhere in Europe. It will be mounted on the chassis of a racing car and then tested at the Tempelhof aerodrome on May 3. The inventor, Herr Heylandt, predicts that the motor will be used in flights between America and Europe.
