RAILWAY MANAGEMENT.

QUESTION OF FUTURE CONTROL. BILL TO BE INTRODUCED. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. In view of considerable difference of Opinion regarding the Government's proposal' to "de-politicalise" the railways, removing them from all control by Parliament and placing the administration of the system in independent hands, the belief has gained ground that the Government will not proceed during the present session with its legislation in that direction, but will postpone consideration of the question till the main session, together with the scheme for the coordination of the Dominion's transport systems generally. When the matter was mentioned to the Prime Minister to-day, Mr. Forbes said there was no intention of delaying consideration of the proposed change in the control of the railways. In fact, a bill to give effect to the alteration would be introduced on Monday next.
