ETERNAL TRIANGLE.

DRUNKEN STREET ARGUMENT. The eternal triangle was 5n evidence again at the Polipe Court this morning when two men and a woman each pleaded guilty to charges of being disorderly while drunk in Hobson Street yesterday afternoon. They were Hilda Gilkes (31), William Hope Dunn (35), a labourer, and John William Pollard (43), labourer. / Detective Sergeant Kelly said the trt'o men W£re engaged in a drunken argument over the woman, when Constable Quirke came upon the trio in Hobson Street at 5.45 p.m. The constable moved them on, and they Went away, but as he passed St. Matthew's Church, Pollard threw a bottle of beer, which smashed on the church door. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., fined each £1 or three days', imprisonment.
