METROPOLITAN GUN CLUB.
The above club held their usual fortnightly shoot on Saturday under perfect conditions. Owing to counter attractions the attendance was not as good as usual, hut some very good shooting was witnessed. The best performance was that of E. N. Barratt, who shot 38 birds out of a possible <£ 39, all first barrels except one; I. Lomas, 35 out of 37; J. Milne, 4o out of 49- F Hazard. 29 out of 32; D. -Hyauiason, 32 out of 3<: L. F. Ramsey, 36 out of 42: and F Kay Stratton, 39 out'of 47. Results were:— No. 1 (7-bird sweepstake).—L. J. Henderson (12yds), F. J. Hazard (14yds), F Kav Stratton (16yds), I. Lomas (11yds), E N Barratt (13yds), and D. Hyauiason' (12yds) all shot the possible. No. 2 (15-birds match for Mr. G -H Brown's trophy).—E. N. Barratt (14yds), f! Kay Stratton (16yds),. I. Lomas (12yds) J Milne (12yds),' and D. Hyauiason (12yds) all shot the possible, and divided the stake They shot off for the trophy (five birds each) when Barratt and Milne again tied, the others having missed one or more. Continuing, Milne missed the twenty-second bird. Barratt, having got him, thus won the trophy. F. J. Hazard (14yds) 14, and L. F. Ramsey (17yds), 13, were the next best scorers. No. 3 (10-bird gym crack).—L. F. Ramsey (15 to 24yds) and J. Milne (11 to-20yds), 10 each; E. N. Barratt (13 to 21 yards) and I. Lomas (11 to 19yds), 9 each. Barratt and Milne divided the stake. No. 10 (10-bird double risee). — J. Milne' (12yds), S, 1; L. F. Ramsey (16yds) 2. ■
