SEVERE AT PUKEKOHE. NO RECORD OF DAMAGE. MANY TOWNS VISITED. Various parts of the Auckland province were visited bya sharp earthquake shock this afternoon. \ ! In the Pukekohe district it was felt 1 at 1.29 this afternoon. At the,. Gisborne. —An earthquake lasting about one minute, with a sharp undulat- ' ing motion, was felt at 1.25 p.m., causing a rush to the streets, but no serious damage is reported.
