The motion : was of a slow, oscillating nature,; similar : to last' week's earthquake. The origin i has. not , been determined. . ' , • .' . No damage was done, but many people - immediately rushed into the streets and gazeel at the buildings.- 'For some time ' many stood in mildly-excited groups discussing the possibilities of the shock.
