ELECTION OF NEW PRESIDENT. (By Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Mr H. Mandeno, of Otago, baa been elected president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, Mr. Mandeno is a member of the tirm of Mandeno and Fraser, registered architects of Dunedin. Born i" Auckland, he commenced the practice of bis profession in Dunedin, and is well known in aichitectural circles throughout the countiy. He has always taken a keen interest m matters affecting his fellow, architects and their profession, and has been in practice for over 20 years. He became a member of the institute at its incorporation in 1913, and is a fellow of the body of whiqh he is now a}so the head.
