MESSAGE TO PRIME MINISTER
Mr. Malcolm Stewart, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, has telegraphed to tlie Prime Minister as "Stron" representations from shipping the representatives of importers and exporters have bcen made t the executive of threats by watcr=>iders sunnorted by the Seamen's Union, not to wff oSaiJ boats handling intercolonial and Samoan cargo. , "We are seriously concerned at tne situation that may develop. May relv on the Government's support entouin„" the law and ensuring that vessels may enter and discharge without mination?"
