N.Z. LADIES' ASSOCIATION,
DECISIONS BY COUNCIL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The first conference of delegates to the New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association opened to-day. It was decided that the meeting be looked upon as a representative meeting of the council of the association. It was decided that North Islapd and South Island tournaments be held each year, the winner of each to play off for the championship alternately in the North Island and South Island. The following motion is to be introduced at the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Association: —"That all players in New Zealand shall be levied at the rate of threepence a person. the money to be separate from the affiliation fee and to he paid into the general fund of the New Zealand Association." It was decided to set up a committee to revise the association's rules. Eepresentative teams are to be accompanied by a woman manaeer and the selector as coach when available SENIOR MATCH DEFAULTED. In the senior grade men's hockey com petitions to-day. University Whippets will default to Mount Eden.
