WHANGAREI NOTES.
Miss Ina Marshall is spending a holiday in Auckland and Rotorua. Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Irvine are spending ten days' holiday in Auckland and Matangi. The Misses Barr are spending a holiday in Christchurch. Miss E. Forde is spendin" the Christmas holidays at her home ir.° Tauranga. Miss Mueller has left to spend the holidays with her parents at Mount Eden. Mrs.. Hosking, Avondale, is visiting her sister, Mrs. J. Mackie, Mill Road. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Birnie motored through to Auckland on Christmas Day. Miss Lorna Wilkinson is spending a holiday at Milford. Mrs. Walker, Mains Avenue, left with her family to-day en route for their holiday camp at Paihia. Miss Joyce Hosking has returned from the Diocesan Girls' High School to spend the holidays with her parents. Mrs. Wilkinson, Sliortland Street, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Wilson, Parakao. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Hosking and family are spending the holidays at Paihia. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Day are on a motor tour in the Mercury Bay district. Mr. and Mrs. F. Archer motored through to Whangaroa on Boxing Day. Miss Cathie left on Friday for her home in Wellington. Miss Mollie Gallagher is spending a holiday with friends in Palmerston North. Miss Keitha Somerville left on Friday for Wellington, where she will spend a short holiday with her aunt before proceeding to Sydney. Mrs. Chittenden, Auckland, is spending a holiday with her daughter, Mrs. Le Pine, Mill Road. Mr. and Mrs. McLeod, Parahaki Street, are spending the holidays at Taurikura. Mrs. Gillespie left last Friday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Vaughan, Christchurch. Mrs. N. Carter and family are the guests of her mother, Mrs. A. R. Crane, Kamo.
