MARERETU DWELLING BURNED.
PAFAROA, this day,
A dwellinghouse at Mareretu occupied by Mr. Gordon (formerly the residence of Mr. R. T. Gibson) was totally destroyed by fire yesterday. It is surmised that a spark from the chimney got under the eaves. Only Mrs. Gordon and one child were at home. A few belongings were saved.
