A HAIRBRUSH HINT.

Even after washing in cold water with ammonia (one teaspoonful to a quart of water) and rinsing also in cold water, the bristles of hair brushes and clothes brushes are apt to remain soft. The best remedy for this is to dip them in a strong solution of alum water.
